For over a decade, our family-led team has cultivated expertise within the spa industry. We stand behind the quality of our products, confident they meet the discerning standards of our clientele. Our commitment extends to ensuring a seamless experience, from initial selection to professional installation, and beyond into the aftercare we pride ourselves on.

Our story began in 2014 with the Johnston family – the founders Pauline, Brian, and their son Matthew– operating as Cabins & Spas from their Stamford Street premises, now the dedicated Swim Test Centre. Along the way, they updated their trading name to Hydropool Manchester.
Through sustained dedication and meticulous effort, they established a new primary showroom at Notcutts Garden Centre in 2019. The welcome addition of daughter-in-law Haley to the team brought a rebrand from the trading name of Hydropool Manchester to Hydropool North West, as a reflection of the scope of their service area.
Hydropool North West's collection has since expanded to encompass Garden Buildings and Gazebos, each designed to elevate and complete your outdoor living space. ​​

Pauline
Swim Spa Professional, Show Site Manager, and Director of Sales.
When she’s not spotted sharing her expert knowledge of all things Hydropool or sprucing up the show site she can be found in her roof-top garden tending to her myriad of plants.

BBQ Cabin Expert, Garden Building Specialist.
When he’s not on the show site at Notcutts or at a far-flung BBQ Cabin Trade Show he can be found enjoying the football with Guinness in hand.
Matthew
Spa Engineer, Company Director, All Around Jack of All Trades.
When he’s not out on the job ingeniously fixing or fastidiously cleaning spas he can be found making music with a variety of instruments from keyboard to kalimba, cello to stylophone.

Website Designer, Content Specialist, Part-Time Sales Associate.
When not queuing up informational blog posts or working on optimising our website she can be found cooking up a storm, reading a fantastical novel, or singing along to her favourite tunes.
Onion
On-Site Spa Inspector, Treat Gobbler, Bird-Scarer.
When she’s not at the Swim Spa Test Centre making sure our jets are running smoothly and our water is crystal clear she can be found lounging by a warm radiator or trying to nibble our spider plants.
